Upgrade Your DA42-TDI To A Lycoming Powered DA42-L360
Upgrade your current DA42-TDI to a "conventional" light twin that is affordable, modern, and robust. The upgrade package will ensure the performance of your aircraft will meet the DA42-L360 specifications, with 35% more horsepower than the DA42-TDI. The conversion process includes two Avgas-burning Lycoming (L) IO360 engines, PowerFlow tuned exhaust systems, and all other parts and labour needed for this upgrade (i.e. new cowls, new engine controls, fuel system modifications, etc.).
Conversions are available now! Reduced pricing is available for DA42-TDI customers enrolled in the Diamond Customer Assistance Program (CAP).

Upgrade Your DA42-TDI or DA42-L360 To An Austro Engine Powered DA42-NG
Upgrade your current DA42-TDI or DA42-L360 to the "next-generation" diesel twin that is simple, efficient, and reliable. The upgrade package will ensure the performance of your aircraft will meet the DA42-NG specifications, with 25% more horsepower than the DA42-TDI and maximum take-off weight of 1,900 kg (4,189 lb). The conversion process includes two Jet A-burning Austro AE300 engines, all parts and labour needed for this upgrade (i.e. new cowls, new engine controls, new exhaust systems, landing gear modifications, etc.).
Conversions are available now! Reduced pricing is available for DA42-TDI customers enrolled in the Diamond Customer Assistance Program (CAP). Original CAP members may also be eligible for up to 30% of the DA42-NG conversion costs, against verified direct expenses incurred as a result of the Thielert Aircraft Engines (TAE) insolvency, and subsequent loss of TAE "Life Extension Program" and TAE warranty.
