Diamond records strong fleet business for D-JET. Chartright Air Group, a Canadian-based aircraft management and charter company, has ordered 10 D-JET aircraft to complement its existing fleet of large business jets. Read more.

Diamond Oshkosh Re-cap
EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2008 featured announcements and updates by Diamond across the product line.
• The DA50 will now be available in two editions: the 350-hp, FADEC-controlled DA50 SuperStar, which will now include a pressurized cabin, and the 170-hp diesel DA50 Magnum. Read more.
• Diamond introduced New Horizons for the DA42. The market-leading, innovative light twin will soon be available with two engine options - a 170-hp per side turbo-diesel engine, developed by Austro Engine GmbH out of Austria, and a 180-hp per side Lycoming IO360-powered version. Read more.
• Diamond announced a new support program for current DA42 owners and position holders. Read more.
• A new D-JET Flyer was published just in time for AirVenture, providing an update on several D-JET items including: the D-JET's new winglet design and its environmental control system. Read more.
The booth featured the full line of Diamond aircraft, from the DA20 trainer, to both versions of the DA40 - the configurable DA40 CS and the fully-loaded DA40 XLS - to the DA42 light twin and DA50 SuperStar. D-JET serial number 002 made its first flight to Oshkosh and was on display alongside the D-JET mock-up all week rounding out the fleet. Diamond's presence also included daily briefings on the D-JET and Garmin Synthetic Vision Technology, first available in the Diamond DA40.

Current Diamond Offers
• Garmin extended warranty now available - 5 year coverage. At Oshkosh, Garmin announced a 3-year optional extension of its warranty program. US and Canada based owners of Diamond DA40 and DA42s with G1000 cockpits, who use the aircraft for personal and business flying and whose plane is in warranty or less than 1 year out of warranty, are eligible to purchase the warranty extension. Event Info
Upcoming major events.
Diamond Aircraft will exhibit at two more major aviation events this year in the U.S. - one on each coast. At the NBAA Convention (October 6-8 in Orlando, FL) Diamond will feature the D-JET mock-up, Diamond Simulation, and the DA50, with a presence from other models. AOPA Expo (November 6-8 in San Jose, CA) will feature the full line of Diamond products, including the D-JET simulator.
DiamondFest.
In conjunction with AOPA Expo, Diamond Aircraft and the Diamond Aviators Association (the DAA) invite Diamond owners to join us for DiamondFest. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 5th, in the San Jose area, and will feature a day full of interesting presentations for Diamond owners, and an evening owner-only reception. Additional information will be sent to Diamond owners via e-mail within the next 4-6 weeks.
