Diamond Aircraft at NBAA and AOPA Events
Diamond continues to innovate and invest, we offer a great range of personal and flight training aircraft, and there has never been a better time to buy a Diamond. These were our key messages at the recent NBAA Convention and AOPA Aviation Summit events, where we exhibited the D-JET mock-up and our piston line-up. Additionally, in a live interview at AOPA, Peter Maurer, President of Diamond Aircraft, and Mike Kraft, General Manager at Lycoming, discussed next-generation aircraft power plants with AOPA's Thomas Haines.

Diamond DA42 Update
Just over a year ago, Diamond Aircraft announced plans to offer owners of DA42 TDI aircraft two new options to protect their investment and to improve performance, reliability and manufacturer support: upgrade to either Lycoming AvGas-burning engines or to the new Austro Engines AE 300 turbo diesel engines that burn jet fuel. Late this summer, Diamond began delivering Lycoming-powered DA42 L360 aircraft and completing Lycoming upgrades for DA42 TDI aircraft. In November, we successfully completed the first DA42 TDI to Austro Engines conversion for the Spanish Flight School Academy, CESDA. Read more.
