On November 19th, 2010 Diamond Aircraft Industries received ANAC certification in Brazil for its single engine aircraft DA40 NG, powered by a 170 hp Austro Engine AE-300 turbo-diesel power plant.
With the Brazilian certification of the DA40 NG Diamond Aircraft Industries is able to extend its product range for the Brazilian market. The following aircraft types are already certified in Brazil: DA40 NG, the twin engine aircraft DA42 NG and multi-purpose platform aircraft DA42 NG MPP, the DA40 XLS and the two-seater DA20-C1 Eclipse.
