After the resignation of Mr. Thomas Mueller at the end of July, Mr. Jürgen Heinrich was appointed CEO of Austro Engine.
Heinrich started his professional career in the automotive industry, working on international market development projects for a major manufacturer in the Heavy Duty Segment in Germany, before joining Diamond Aircraft Industries in 2007. Within Diamond Aircrafts’ organization he had gone through executive traineeship in the fields of Sales and Marketing and soon (2008) joined the Board of Directors as Executive Assistant to the CEO besides working as Corporate Development Manager.
After a two years absence, in which Heinrich headed a market development campaign for a major Construction and Mining Equipment manufacturer out of Dubai, he returned to Diamond Aircraft in 2013. As Director Sales and Marketing he was also taking care of the enterprise’s Business Development agendas.
Jürgen Heinrich graduated from “University of Applied Sciences Joanneum”, holding an Engineering Degree (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) - equivalent to MSc.) for Industrial Management.
He will be assisted by the newly appointed Chief Operating Officer, Peter Lietz, who was in charge of all Marketing & Sales agendas of Austro Engine before.
