Diamond Aircraft Industries is looking for an Airworthiness and Certification Engineer to join its engineering team.
Diamond Aircraft Industries holds a number of type certificates and supplemental type certificates. This position will be involved in the certification of new aircraft types as well as the continued development of existing Diamond Aircraft product line.

Responsibilities

  • Administration and investigation of occurrences
  • Coordination with aviation authorities
  • Support to the project teams for compliance demonstration
  • Preparation of design changes and certification reports for corrective actions
  • Assistance in collecting, investigating, analysing reports related to the aviation safety
  • Training of DO personnel in certification procedures and standards
  • Participation in Continued Airworthiness activities

Skills

  • Master's degree in aerospace or aeronautical engineering, preferably focus on Airworthiness and Certification
  • Knowledge of the European and global regulatory aviation environment
  • Knowledge of international validation procedures (e.g. FAA, TCCA)
  • Knowledge of aircraft certification standards EASA CS-23 and means of compliance
  • Knowledge of initial airworthiness regulation EASA Part 21 (POA & DOA)
  • Knowledge of post-TC continued airworthiness and certification processes
  • Team orientation as well as ability to work independently
  • Distinct communication skills and customer focus
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • First Experience in aircraft certification projects
  • Passion for aviation (e.g. pilots license) is beneficial

We offer a market-standard salary based on your professional and personal suitability. The legal minimum salary for this position according to the Austrian collective agreement is 4.354,45 EUR gross/month (Master Level). Depending on your experience we provide overpayment to this base salary.
