Responsibilities
- Design and development of avionic and electric system layouts
- Design of wiring harnesses, avionic system and component integration
- Development and performance of tests (ground and flight tests); compilation of test plans and reports
- Preparation of Specifications and Interface Control Documents
- Creation of all required production documents (drawings, manuals, manufacturing/acceptance test procedures)
- Preparation of the required certification documentation (compliance demonstration, compliance summaries)
- Interfacing with other engineering disciplines such as Design Engineering, Flight Test and Structures
- Interfacing with the Production department
- System Safety Assessments and Failure Hazard Analyses
Skills
- Bachelor engineering degree in Aeronautics with focus on Avionic, Electical Engineering or Mechatronics in combination with HTL Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology or Mechatronics
- Sound knowledge in working with 3D CAD programs (CATIA V5; Solid Edge)
- Knowledge of aircraft electric and avionic systems is an asset
- Independent working style
- Good command of English and German (written and spoken) for collaboration
- Professional skills in composition and administration of documents using standard office applications

We offer a market-standard salary based on your professional and personal suitability. The legal minimum salary for this position according to the Austrian collective agreement is 3.396,21 EUR gross/month (BA-Level). Depending on your experience we provide overpayment to this base salary.
