Responsibilities
- Development of engine components and parts for combustion engines
- Design and detailed construction of complex components according to applicable standards
- Selection of suitable manufacturing processes based on production volumes
- Analysis of engine components from test and customer engines
- Direct collaboration with external development partners
- Documentation of component development and preparation of verification reports for component and engine certification
- Support in component procurement and supplier coordination
- Performing basic FEM analyses of components using 3DEXPERIENCE and interpreting the results
- Organizing and interpreting external FEM analyses
Skills
- Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, or related fields
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Proficient in CATIA V5/3DEXPERIENCE
- Knowledge in mechanical component design and construction methodology
- Knowledge of FEM analysis and interpretation of results
- Experience in performing FEM analysis using 3DEXPERIENCE or similar software
- Solid understanding of engine mechanics and thermodynamics
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Strong self-motivation, resilience, reliability, and precision
- Ideally, experience in the aerospace industry (Part 21, CS-E)
- Willingness to learn and the ability to work independently as well as in a team after appropriate onboarding

The position offers a statutory minimum salary of EUR 53.241,02 gross/year with the possibility of overpayment depending on your education, qualifications and previous experience.
