AUSTRO ENGINE, A MEMBER OF THE DIAMOND GROUP, IS A GLOBAL COMPANY HEADQUARTERED IN AUSTRIA. OUR FOCUS IS ON THE DEVELOPMENT AND SALES OF WANKEL AND PISTON ENGINES FOR AIRCRAFT APPLICATIONS.
Responsibilities
- Coordination with the interfaces between aircraft configuration, engineering, production control and the quality departments
- Interface to the aviation authority when reporting security-related disruptions
- Responsible for entering development information into the production process
- Responsible for feedback of production information into the development process
- Processing of construction deviations and organization of further measures to remedy them
- Management of optimization projects in engine assembly
- Supervision of tasks related to the processing of incidents
- Participation in the creation of work instructions in the construction of a production system
- Release of means of production
- Responsible for meeting deadlines and the effectiveness of implemented measures
Skills
- Technical vocational training (HTL)
- At least 3 years’ experience in the area engine manufacturing, preferably in the area of aerospace companies
- General knowledge of the legal framework of Austrian aviation
- Project management experience, analytical and structured approach and good understanding of process design and optimization
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Independent, reliable, and quality-oriented working style
- Problem-solving ability and resilience

We offer you a minimum salary from EUR 3.458,06 according to the collective agreement with the possibility of overpayment depending on your qualifications/previous experience.
