Responsibilities
- The Production Test Pilot / Ground Inspector execute the Production Test flight Program (Testflights CAT 3) to DAI’ s current produced aircraft (DA40, DA 42, DA62, DA50) and future aircraft as for instance the DART aerobatic trainer.
- The second part of the area of responsibility will be as a Ground Inspector to the Inspection Group to check the aircraft in detail by its drawings for conformity during aircraft assembly.
- He/she/X should have an in-depth system and design knowledge and be able to communicate objections to the Flight- and Production Line personal as well as making recommendations to design / manufacturing and quality Improvements.
- All responsibilities will be trained extensively on the job before going “solo”.
- We are looking for a long-term employee who is willing to comply to the DAI philosophy.
Skills
- (HTL / FH) mechanical /electrical / aviation engineering (or equivalent) or an EASA Part 66 AML B1.
- MS Office Knowledge
- Excellent communication (German/English) and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of an EASA commercial pilot license and instrument rating on single and
- multi engine piston aircraft
- Minimum of 800 h TT with at least 400 h as a Pilot in command preferred
- Aerobatic rating preferred

We offer a market-standard salary based on your professional and personal suitability. The legal minimum salary for this position according to the Austrian collective agreement is EUR 3 802,93 gross/year. We provide overpayment of this base salary.
