airBaltic Pilot Academy receives 8th Diamond aircraft

Last week Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH delivered another Austro Engine jet-fuel powered DA40 NG aircraft to airBaltic Training.

From the very beginning airBaltic Training has decided to use the most modern training aircraft from Diamond, allowing their students to transfer their knowledge and skills into the most advanced 21st century airliner flight decks. airBaltic Training now operates seven DA40 NG SEP (Single Engine Piston), one DA42-VI MEP (Multi Engine Piston) and one convertible DA40/DA42 FNPT II (Flight Navigation Procedures Trainer) from Diamond Aircraft.

Earlier this week airBaltic Training received certification to establish an Authorized Service Centre for Diamond Aircraft at its base in Liepāja International Airport.

airBaltic Training will receive two additional single-engine DA40 NG training platforms from Diamond Aircraft in 2021, proving how a high-standard flight academy benefits from the most sophisticated flight training tools on the market today.
