Flycom Technologies expands its special mission fleet with the next-generation DA62 MPP SurveyStar

Wiener Neustadt, Austria – Diamond Aircraft Industries is pleased to announce the delivery of the first DA62 MPP SurveyStar to Slovenian aerial survey and special mission operator Flycom Technologies, marking a significant milestone in the long-standing partnership between the two companies.

The addition of the DA62 MPP SurveyStar represents a major step forward for Flycom's airborne surveying capabilities. Already operating two Diamond DA42 MPP GeoStar aircraft with great success, Flycom has now chosen to expand its fleet with the larger and more capable DA62 MPP platform to support growing mission requirements and future operational needs.

Designed specifically for demanding airborne survey, mapping, observation and special mission operations, the DA62 MPP SurveyStar combines increased payload capability, extended endurance and enhanced mission flexibility with Diamond's renowned efficiency, reliability and safety.

The delivery underlines Flycom's continued confidence in Diamond's Special Mission Aircraft portfolio and highlights the natural progression for operators seeking greater capability while maintaining the operational advantages of the Diamond MPP family.

"We are proud to see Flycom take the next step in its fleet development with the introduction of the DA62 MPP SurveyStar," said Mario Spiegel, Head of Sales at Special Mission Aircraft Division. "Having successfully operated two DA42 MPP GeoStars for many years, Flycom knows the value and performance of our Special Mission Aircraft. The DA62 MPP SurveyStar offers greater payload capacity, longer endurance and expanded mission flexibility, enabling Flycom to take on even more demanding survey projects while benefiting from the efficiency and reliability that define the Diamond platform."

Flycom has established itself as a leading provider of aerial surveying and geospatial data acquisition services in the region. The new aircraft will strengthen the company's ability to deliver high-quality survey solutions for customers across a broad range of applications.

"The decision to invest in the DA62 MPP SurveyStar was a natural evolution for our business," said Filip Rojs, CEO of Flycom. "Our experience with the two DA42 MPP GeoStars has been very good. The aircraft have proven themselves to be reliable, efficient and highly capable survey platforms which is precisely what our operations demand. As mission requirements continue to grow, the DA62 MPP SurveyStar provides the additional capacity and operational flexibility we need to support our customers and further expand our capabilities."
