Diamond Fest 2026 Brings the Diamond Community Together in London, Ontario

London, Ontario, August 26, 2026 - Diamond Aircraft Canada and the Diamond Flying Club (DFC), in collaboration with Airshow London and the Diamond Pilots Association (DPA), welcomed Diamond aircraft owners, flight school representatives, pilots, maintenance professionals, suppliers, government officials, and aviation enthusiasts to Diamond Fest 2026 at the company’s Canadian headquarters in London, Ontario (CYXU).

Held August 21-22 alongside Airshow London SkyDrive, Canada’s premier drive-in airshow, the official “Diamond Homecoming” combined an exclusive airshow experience with technical education, factory access, aircraft displays, and opportunities for the Diamond community to connect.

Diamond Fest opened Friday evening with a VIP reception at the Katana Kafe and exclusive access to Airshow London SkyDrive. One of the airshow’s opening acts featured a formation flight of the Diamond DA40 NG, DA50 RG, and DA62, bringing three members of the Diamond fleet together over London. Guests also enjoyed performances by military and civilian demonstration teams.

Guests explored Diamond’s static display on the patio of Katana Kafe, including Diamond Flight Centre’s DA42, the distinctive “Black Knight” DA50 RG, and the versatile DA62. Attendees were also among the first to visit the new Pilot Shop inside the Diamond Canada factory, featuring exclusive models and Diamond merchandise.

Saturday morning brought the program into the Diamond Canada factory, with a series of expert-led educational seminars co-presented by DPA alongside guided factory tours running throughout the morning. Guests were able to join multiple tour groups for a behind-the-scenes look at Diamond Canada’s manufacturing operations while the seminar program was underway.

The educational sessions included:

  • “On Condition Maintenance” - Ed McDonald (JetPro)
  • “Using Artificial Intelligence to Analyze Engine and ECU Data” - John Sipple (Vyzerion AI)
  • “Garmin Solutions for Diamond Pilots” - Will Raines (Garmin)
  • “Recurrent and Transition Training for Diamond Pilots” - Eric Jordan (Take Flight Aviation)

Beyond the flying and factory program, Diamond Fest once again brought together the people behind Diamond aircraft. Newcomers to the Diamond community had the opportunity to learn directly from experienced owners, while pilots, operators, and industry partners exchanged practical knowledge and strengthened relationships across the global Diamond network.
