Established in May 2025, the Diamond Flying Club is dedicated to creating an exclusive flying community for global Diamond aircraft owners, allowing them shared experiences, collaboration, and elevated flying experiences. This “Diamond Night” not only marks DFC’s first global offline gathering since its establishment but also signifies a solid and meaningful step towards building the Diamond Aircraft community.
At the dinner, Mr. Kevin Sheng, General Manager of Diamond Aircraft Canada, delivered a warm welcome speech, emphasizing that DFC not only connects global Diamond aircraft users but also builds a platform for broader future flying dreams. Mr. Matt Taylor, Aircraft Maintenance Manager at the Aerospace Institute of Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), took the stage to share his long-term collaboration, experiences and insights operating Diamond aircraft. Additionally, Mr. Paul Koch, Vice President of the Diamond Pilots Association, expressed high recognition for DFC’s development potential and future plans. A standout moment came from Mr. Rene Amstrup, a Diamond DA62 owner, whose family’s around-the-world flying story captivated the audience with a round of applause, fully demonstrating the robust performance and reliability of Diamond aircraft.
Towards the end of the event, an interactive Q&A and raffle session took place, with multiple guests winning exquisite aviation gear prizes, including DA62 wall art, Garmin pilot watches, Bose pilot headsets, and much more — bringing the gathering to a high point of enthusiasm.
As DFC’s first offline event, “Diamond Night”, not only strengthened connections among members but also further consolidated Diamond Aircraft’s brand influence in the global general aviation sector. Looking ahead, DFC will continue to sponsor other exciting global events, continuously empowering the Diamond community.
