Diamond Flight Training Austria

Diamond Flight Training is an “Approved Training Organisation” (ATO) according to EASA Part-FCL, holding the Approval Certificate No. AT.ATO.152 issued by Austro Control, the Civil Aviation Authority of Austria.

All trainings will be performed at Diamond Aircraft Industries facilities in Wiener Neustadt, Austria (LOAN). Other training locations possible on request.

Diamond Flight Training offers following trainings on the scheduled course dates.

    • MEP (land) Class Rating on DA42 NG/-VI or DA62 or combination of both
    • ME-IR (A) Extension of Class Rating

      Diamond Type Training – MULTI ENGINE

      ► Pre-entry Requirements

      MEP (land) Class Rating on DA42 NG/-VI or DA62 or combination of both

      • PPL (A) or higher
      • Valid medical certificate
      • At least 70 flight hours as Pilot-In-Command of Aeroplanes

      ME-IR (A) Extension of the Instrument Rating for Multi-Engine Aeroplanes

      • PPL (A) or higher
      • Valid MEP (land) Class Rating
      • Valid Single-Engine IR Rating
      • Valid medical certificate

      DA42 NG/-VI or DA62 Differences Training incl. Garmin G1000 course

      • PPL (A) or higher
      • Valid MEP (land) Class Rating
      • Valid medical certificate




      DA42 NG/-VI or DA62 Differences Training excl. Garmin G1000 course

      • PPL (A) or higher
      • Valid MEP (land) Class Rating

      The stated flight training amount is understood as minimum. More training as necessary or requested by applicant / instructor.

      Aircraft to be used

      Training on customer’s aircraft

      • Customer accepts training on the aircraft
      • Airworthiness:
        • Diamond Aircraft “Permit To Fly” with Crew Training Purpose, or
        • Customer’s Registration and Airworthiness Approvals:
          • Insurance shall cover flight training purpose
          • Insurance shall cover Diamond's Flight Instructors as pilot in command (pilot clause) - insurance confirmation letter to be attached
          • Aircraft's airworthiness shall be managed by an EASA certified Part M Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) -
            insurance confirmation letter to be attached
      • Use of the aircraft on customer’s expenses (fuel and landings included in Diamond’s offer)

      Training on aircraft rented from Diamond Aircraft

      • All costs included (incl. maintenance, fuel, etc.)
      • Insurance policy available
      • Aircraft availability needs to be confirmed
      • Aircraft might be used for different purposes on short notice

      Diamond Type Training – SINGLE ENGINE

      Pre-entry Requirements

      • LAPL (A), PPL (A) or higher
      • Valid medical certificate

      Registration

      Please place your registration at the earliest possible date, latest 3 weeks prior the start of the training. For later registrations attendance cannot be guaranteed.

      After your registration you will get an invoice. Payment must be done latest 5 days before the course starts. Course attendance will be confirmed only after payment has been received.
