Diamond Aviators Network (DAN) is an independent platform created by owners of Diamond aircraft to openly discuss ownership experiences. Several teleconferences have been held with select representatives of DAN and senior DAI leadership to thoroughly discuss owner concerns. The group discussions have particularly highlighted the owners’ desire for avionics upgrade paths.
In order to gain a better understanding of the demand for such upgrades, DAI – in close collaboration with DAN – has decided to release a market survey as a first step. The purpose of this first questionnaire is two-fold: (1) to gauge overall demand for avionics upgrades and (2) to update ownership information. Once the results have been received and evaluated, further airframe-specific surveys will be released to further assess the business case.
The first survey will be available from May 1, 2020 at 09h00 EDT until May 31, 2020 at 00:00 EDT. The survey is expected to take approximately 10 - 15 minutes to complete and can be found by following this link: http://aviatorsurvey.diamondair.com Please be advised that some airframe-specific information, such as aircraft registration and airframe serial number, will be required to complete the survey.
